Dr. Elizabeth Doppler-Bourassa
Dr. Elizabeth Doppler-Bourassa, is a NH licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of clinical and consultation experience. She specializes in the treatment of Selective Mutism and other anxiety-based disorders. She has worked with individuals across the life span in a variety of settings including community-based mental health centers, public schools, and residential treatment schools.
One of her most treasured professional experiences has been serving alongside a talented group of SLPs and OTs as a consulting psychologist at a multi-disciplinary clinic in Bedford, NH from 2015-2019. Additionally, she has been operating her private outpatient practice, The Village Counsel, in Dover NH since 2015. She enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan to navigate life's challenges using play, storytelling, and humor from a strength-based perspective. Most recently, Dr. Doppler-Bourassa has been working to bring her therapy practice outdoors to provide nature-based play therapy for individuals and groups in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
When not at work, Dr. Doppler-Bourassa can be found exploring the beaches and forests of NH with her son and husband or coaching and playing soccer.
